Are All Good Things In The South?

Sometimes I feel so disconnected.  Nearly all of the people I follow on Twitter live in the states of Tennessee and Georgia. Then there is me….in Arizona.  These people not only know each other but have a great connection.  I don’t have that.

I think part of it is my lovely introverted self.  It’s easier to “talk” to a computer screen then it is to people in real life.  I think the problem also could be attributed to the lack of connections between churches here.  Churches are very self-sufficient and rarely collaborate with each other for the greater good (the Gospel).

I’m grateful for the friends I’ve made via Twitter that live not only in Tennessee and Georgia, but also California and South Carolina and Colorado.  And I believe that if I do ever meet these lovely people I would like them in real life more than I do over Twitter.

So think of me and pray for me here in Arizona.

Prudy…. Our hearts beat the same on this area. I miss the deep connections I had back in Michigan & often read of others connecting on Twitter just as you. I believe even in our feeling of disconnect God heard our hearts desire. Whether in the south or out here on the west coast , I pray God blessed you and I both with the connection & community we long for. God bless ya!

I completely agree. For all the bad things that can come with the internet there are many good things.
